He looked into her eyes and said, "I love you".

Those 3 words contain so many hidden meanings. More often than not we say those words and, along with them, add many of our expectations to the person we say it to. What we actually meant was "I love you if..."

I love you if you stay the same.
I love you if you love me.
I love you as long as you do what I want.

These phrases contain conditions and expectations. They are not true love.
You are not wrong in making love conditional because expectations always silently form in our hearts without us knowing.

False love takes the form of the lack of realism. This is mainly due to projection and fantasy.
We fantasize about an ideal lover and anyone falling short of our expectations are deemed undeserving of our love.

The path to love:

The courtship phase succeeds to the extent that a man and woman can dismantle their defences; it fails to the extent that they build new defences together.

Ego cannot abolish fear, since it is founded on fear. It cannot create love since by definition it shuts love out.

You cannot take ego to the unknown where love leads. If you follow love, your life will be uncertain and ego craves certainty. Love makes your feelings ambiguous but ego wants to feel the certainty of right and wrong. Love is confused, spontaneous, vulnerable, exposed, detached, carefree, wondrous and ever new.

I am taking 6 modules next sem. THIS is LIKE HARDCORE? But I kinda like it actually because this means things would be easier for me next sem.

Never mind I am sure I can do it with all my mugging prowess. Catch me in the library baby!

Rag is coming to an end. J and I were talking about how nice BY had treated us. Therefore in return we're gonna get her something this TUES!

Bidding has begun and it's a semesterly affair (adapted from charlene's nick) where people start complaining how sucky it is. Well it's a good platform to cultivate some form responsibility and planning in us but I must agree that the system can be quite screwed up at times. The double degree freshman are not protected at all! So hard to bid for their secondary degree modules!

I cannot take FNA1002 anymore and I am so damn sad.

Got my new laptop yesterday and guess wat! It's an oh-so-darn-cool tablet. Now I can start drawing nice cartoons on msn!

alright no rest day for me today...OFF to rag AGAIN..=(
