I have a neighbour who's the most inconsiderate creature ever existed. He thinks his rich and he never stops threatening us with law all the time. He must understand that not all the things have to be settled rigidly. I believe in making brothers, or what we call Abang, and resolving issues with a greater human touch. Has he forgotten I am much older than him?

Recently, my house began to leak from the daily downpours. This is the first time it has ever happened because roof is made from the highest quality straw which I acquired from Ululu Island. I spent days and days cooped up in my leaking house thinking of what could have possibly caused the leak. Finally, I realised, it could be, I mean, it must be a result of my neighbour's renovation. He had been trying to extend the area outside his door to include a shoe cabinet and an aluminium door. IT MUST BE wooDEN SHOE CABINET! Here goes the explanation:

Shoe cabinets made of wood tend to absorb moisture better compared to a metal one. The moisture, in hot weather, evaporates and forms things called CLOUD above my precious unleakable roof. THis must have doubled the rate of precipitation causing more RAIN to fall. THE wood must have some chemicals in it causing the rain to be corrosive and that was the main reason for rain seeping through my roof! It's all my neighbours fault. GOOD I shall tell my 100 kids so that they can join me in pointing fingers at my neighbours in our bedroom with only one toilet. I will feed them well so that they have enough strength to whine and hopefully they become so tired that they forget about going to the toilet.

Look, whatever the case is, it's my neighbours fault. Quit accusing me of being senile, whining and accusing... I am noT! Because i don't whine... I don't.. i don't... I don't care.. i reeli dont....

Sick young man

Why is traveling so expensive?

9 days in Melbourne will cost me around 1600 = 1 x raptor (yep instinctively I used the price of a kayak to illustrate how much 1600 is...)
This is quite an overestimate considering the airfare will be 1000- but I don't really like the idea of going to a city with a tight budget because there will be an overwhelming shopping temptation. The concept of backpacking works for me only in rural areas where the only temptation is cheap exotic food and free scenery.

These days I always look forward to kayaking. I think it's got to do with the elevated "pleasure"which I derive from paddling recently. It has never felt so stable before. haha cie all the JC kids...

Kids, these days, are so different from our time. Although it's merely some half decade apart but, sometimes, they behave in ways which I really cannot fathom. There was this guy who handed in a BLANK piece of assignment - I would have handed in the next day - today. Is this some kind of attitude or they got no cow sense ah? Use backside think also know this piss off the teacher lar! BUT surprisingly I found it rather amusing. His attitude and cow sense, which ever he is trying to display, were erm... haha so childish and stupid. Yea I had a good laugh in the staffroom...

Darn... So many nice things.. BUT CANNOT buy... My EVERLAST watch's price has dropped further and I was sooo tempted to buy it lar! Thank God I exercised CONTROL..

My dear Starlet is going to be scrapped next week. =(

WM (which means) I gotta wake up at 530 in order to catch 53 at its highly variable timings. I remember waiting for as long as 30 min for 53.

I was so careless yesterday. Somehow, an unknown disturbance crashed into my brain causing temporary memory loss. First I took the kayak out of the shed with my slippers on and, after realising that, I brought the slippers back only and forgot to remove my glasses. So I went in, out, in, out, in and out of the shed. Then, when I kept my kayak, I left having an uncomfortable feeling that I had left something behind. I didn't realise my key was left on the lock until I reached home. What a jOke.

Teachers are the most good tempered people in this world. They gotta tolerate the nonsense which their students "THROW" mercilessly. Educating a young person is an art because it requires the educator to not only impart knowledge but also inspire thinking. The skills involved in questioning cannot be described simply by words because it's all about timing and event. The right question at the right time provokes the thoughts of a student a great deal.

Teaching the kids at the centre this evening was quite a fufilling experience. Yes, they have problems in terms of understanding and are slow in their progress but very little new word that they learn or new problems which they solve always seemed like a great leap forward. Somehow it feels much better teaching them because you can see how good effort reaps results.

I think I am getting along very well with the kids... Look forward to the next session =)

争分夺秒 is so exciting. The plot is rather unrealistic considering the triad goes round killing so many people without getting into trouble. How is this possible? I mean the crimes were not conducted so professionally that they left no evidence right? OH well if only they had ISA in this Hongkong serial then they could detain those Mafias indefinitely even if there was insufficient evidence. SEE ISA is not that bad after all! WAit.. it's just a drama...

THE abrasion on my butt is not gonna heal because everytime I go kayak it gets worse.

I saw a Pseudo Polo T which fits me very well leh... but it's 49 bux... ERM.. is it worth it?

WooHOo... I've got quite a few good catches today! I realised that when you are involved in shopping, in contrast with when you are tagging along shoppers, you will never feel tired. SOme kinda hormones thing is it?

Here's my theory on shopping:
1. T shirts should be bought at low prices. Never go for expensive t shirts because at the end of the day they are just T shirts.
2. Invest on polos and shirts
3. Have the end in mind. Always think of the image which you wanna create before you set out to buy your clothes (i always fail) and anything extra is a bonus.
4. If you have to buy something expensive, make sure it's special/unique/out of the world.
5. Diversify. Spread your resources ie. money on MANY cheap, well designed apparels rather than on a few expensive ones.
6. When buying things from you-better-bargain places, you'd better bargain. Don ask for the price for the sake of asking; ask only when you are interested. Set a price and stick to the price. Walk away he doesn't agree. DO NOT be tempted to increase your price; not even for a cent.
7. When in doubt of which one to buy, think of your favourite colour.

GUess what? I am eating! ERM not that I haven't been eating but the pseudo anorexic (spell correctly rite?) symptoms are disappearing! I think it's gotta do with how much exercise. When I don't exercise I eat very little and when I exercise I simply turn into a pig. I had like 1.5 packet of chix rice for dinner, banana, soon kueh, sushi for tea and dunnoe how much char siew for lunch!

TERROR!!!

I am losing my voice because my students in one of the classes are growing horns on their heads.
THEY JUST CANNOT STOP TALKING.

Now I believe in retribution...

OKay I will be VERY free next week because my students are going for OBS and I am not following them. ANyone wanna Date me?

THere is this funny question which keeps popping up when I introduce myself - "Sir, are you a virgin?" Kids these days... They are capable of any damn thing.

From 19 Jan onwards I will be doing some volunteer work after being self centred B****** for 2 years. I hope this experience will be comparable to Camp Better World... Have I ever told story? I doubt, so here goes:

I was a group leader for CAMP BETTER WORLD which was a camp for underprivileged children and students from MINDS. There was a 17 yr old girl from one of the schools under MINDS who acted like the big sister for the all the kids in my group throughout the camp. She was rather reserved but somehow she had a way with the autistic children and that really eased my workload. At the end of the day, when they were about to leave, I decided to thank her and say goodbye. I walked towards her and stuck out my hand instead I received a BIG HUG. It was shocking for me because I would never hug a person whom I had known for only a day. It's such simple acts which provoke your thoughts. She made me feel so appreciated and the feelings were so damn real. It was so true and straightforward. Have you ever doubted or suspected, in your life, that a person is hypocritical? Maybe it's just me being overly suspicious.

This is my first post of 2007.

Where did you guys do the oh-so-childish countdown this morning? I was at Bedok Jetty, with my bro's colleagues, looking at the faraway, silent mode Marina Bay Fireworks. By a stroke of luck, I managed to estimate the time needed to overcome the SMS congestion and sent out an SMS which was received at 0002. *APPLAuSE*

Countdown at East Coast was a brand new experience for me. It was the first time I saw how SAILORS celebrate NEW YEAR by releasing RED flares - initially they reminded my of the M203 whitestar parachute - into the sky and sounding their horns. Yea, it was pretty lively. For someone who hates crowded places and, yet, wants to remain hip, the place to be is EAST COAST~!

ANYWAY, I reached home at 3am after sending my bro's colleagues home. I got a SHOCK of my life when Kym told me Rebecca lives in JURONG. THANK GOD my reflex action was to smile.

New Year's resolution... Yes I know I need to work that out but today just seems to much like a tuck-in-bed day so I shall keep you guys posted, in the next few days, on what crazy ideas I have for this year. STAY TUNED! =)
